Before Your Visit
To ensure accurate diagnostic results and a smooth appointment experience at New Vision Diagnostics, please review the guidelines below before arriving for your scan.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete registration and any necessary documentation.
Do I need to fast?
For abdominal ultrasound scans, fasting for 6–8 hours is usually required.
For most other scans, fasting is not necessary unless advised by your doctor or our clinic staff.
What should I bring?
Please bring:
• Doctor’s referral or prescription (if available)
• Previous scan reports or medical records
• A valid government-issued ID
These help the radiologist interpret your scan more accurately.
Is water intake required?
For pelvic and early pregnancy ultrasounds, a full bladder is required.
Please drink approximately 1 litre of water one hour before your appointment and avoid emptying your bladder until after the scan.
Can I take my medications?
You may continue taking your regular medications unless your doctor or our clinic staff advise otherwise. Take medications with small sips of water if fasting is required.
When will my report be ready?
Most ultrasound and diagnostic reports are available within 2–4 hours.
Digital copies can be shared with patients via WhatsApp or email, depending on your preference.
